New lyrics – Toeing The Line

I was in a team meeting today where my boss told us that she, “wasn’t toeing the party line”. Now, I like my boss and I believe her when she says this but it got me thinking about someone who was toeing the party line and I came up with this:

Yeah you’re doing it all the time
And there’s no sorrow in those eyes
As you’re selling the party lies

Broken promises

Cos you’re toeing the party line
Yeah you’re doing it all the time
And there’s no sorrow in those eyes
As you’re selling the party lies
